Amanda Kordeliski, librarian at Irving Middle School in Norman, Oklahoma, was inspired by her reading of Rose Under Fire to put together an interesting study guide on American servicemen in Britain during World War II and the effect of the German “Vengeance Weapons” on civilian populations. Titled “Bombs and Bomber Boys,” it ties in with the Common Core and is available to download here.
